Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026

Life Note Pad is developed by Bongshal Tech (Dhaka, Bangladesh). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and how you can control it.

1. Data stored on your device

Your notes, checklists, reminders and app settings are stored only on your phone. We do not send them to any server.
If you add a profile photo, it is also kept only on your phone.
The PIN for locked notes is stored as an encrypted hash in the phone's secure storage.
Fingerprint unlock is handled by your phone's operating system. The app never receives your fingerprint data.

2. Google sign-in (optional)

All features work without signing in. If you sign in with Google, the app receives your name, email address, profile photo URL and an account ID from Google and Firebase Authentication (a Google service). These are used only to identify your account. We do not sell or share them with anyone.

3. Reminders and notifications

Reminders, alarms and notifications run entirely on your device. For this, the app asks for permission to show notifications, schedule exact alarms and show alarms on the lock screen. The notification banner is generated on your phone from your name and the note's topic.

4. Advertising

This version shows no ads. If Google AdMob ads are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are turned on.

5. Security

Sign-in traffic is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

6. Deleting your data

You can delete any note inside the app. Notes in the trash are removed automatically after 30 days.
Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on your phone.
You can sign out of your Google account from Settings.
To have your account information fully deleted, email us at the address below. It will be deleted within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
